Katie Wadsworth is a queer, Mexican comedy writer who is currently staffed on the second season of HBOMax's Velma. Prior to staffing, Katie was a freelance writer on Hulu's Animaniacs, as well as a writers' assistant on Netflix's Never Have I Ever, Peacock's A.P. Bio, TBS' Drop The Mic and the ESPY Awards. She was also the showrunners' assistant to Kit Steinkellner on Facebook's Sorry For Your Loss, and a Writers' PA on NBC's Great News. She is a native Texan, a graduate of Columbia College, and a graduate of the Second City Chicago Conservatory and the Second City Chicago Writing Program.
