CHRISTINE AUTRAND MITCHELL is a screenwriter and filmmaker, has published short fiction and articles, and has edited for online magazines and as a freelancer. The screenplay for ANNING STATION is repped by Bohemia Group. An alumni of The Writers Lab, Christine has been optioned and ranked in top screenplay contests and fellowships like Austin, PAGE and ScreenCraft, as well as Roadmap Writers. Her genre and STEM-based stories highlight characters challenged by secrets and their unique settings, making her a grounded world builder inspired by places she grew up—like a Spanish tourist island and a 900-year-old Austrian cloister. A former business consultant and casting director, Christine lives in Portland, Oregon with her family.
