DA EVERETT is the simpler-to-spell pen name for Michael Wooldridge, a writer, director, and editor from New York. His interest in film has matured into a love of the storytelling process over his decade in the edit rooms of Tim Squyres, Greg Hayden, and Andrew Mondshein, most recently as associate editor on George Wolfe's upcoming feature, RUSTIN. DA believes thrilling stories challenge the audience's understanding with emotional lenses and his experiences with complicated family and mental health have left him with an absolute faith in resilience. His stories focus on finding a path to a better future, no matter how difficult. His feature script, ONLY RUINS REMAIN was a semifinalist in the 2022 Nicholl Competition.
