BIO
GABRIELLA FONT is a writer from a tiny town called The Little Apple, also known as Manhattan, Kansas. Growing up in the same town Dorothy Gale once got lost in, Gabriella fell into the trap of escapism as a child as she was surrounded by The Wizard of Oz memorabilia on every corner. This inspired Gabriella to dive head first into writing for the screen, and after graduating from Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television with a BA in Screenwriting, she went on to later work for development companies as an assistant in Los Angeles. Being forced to raise herself, Gabriella’s stories always consist of extremely complicated, terribly unlikable antiheroes who are always trying to find themselves in this world, as well as accept what they cannot change. She pushes forward the narrative surrounding women of color and women with mental illness all through a sense of humor amidst deep, emotional tragedies.
