BIO 

 

KATY DORE turned down an invitation to have lunch with Queen Elizabeth in favor of going camping with “regular folks.” No regrets! Favoring the stories of the people history books fail to mention, Katy writes for TV and Film. Her historic drama THE UNSUNG, about Mary Ellen Pleasant, entrepreneur, activist and all around bad-ass, has production attachments from Quincy Jones Productions, Flavor Unit and Goldmann Pictures. Katy completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University and her MFA at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. When Katy isn’t writing or directing, you can find her playing tennis, hiking or fly-fishing.
