KELSEY PETERS strives to tell meaningful stories centered around strong women on original journeys that resonate in the everyday lives of viewers. Having worked on film and television sets in the Props Department for nearly a decade, she has helped shape the visual narratives of dramatic series and feature films for HBO, Showtime, Netflix and more. She applies knowledge gleaned from working closely with veteran directors, like David Fincher (Mindhunter), M. Night Shymalan (Servant), and Richard Linklater (Where’d You Go, Bernadette) to enhance the stories she now tells as a writer. She’s intrigued by how a distorted perception of reality weighs on a person and, as a result, she desires to create dark comedies that shine a light on the absurd nature of modern life.
