BIO 


KERRY-ANN CALLEJA MCGREGOR is a commissioned, produced, and multi-award-winning TV and feature screenwriter. Kerry-Ann has won several International Screenwriting competitions and her films have been selected for numerous festivals including several Bafta, Bifa and Oscar qualifying festivals. She has written the drama short RUTH that won Arri/Directors UK award and BEST UK SHORT and has recently aired on a US TV channel. She has cowrote and coproduced part of an anthology feature film that starred Olivia Williams and cowritten by Joe Esterhas (Basic Instinct). Most recently she was commissioned to write TELL ME YOU LOVE ME based on a true story that was directed by Paulette Randell MBE, one of the most respected Black Female UK theatre and TV Directors and starring Tamsin Outhwaite. Kerry-Ann is in talks to adapt a best-selling novel to TV series as well as other TV and feature projects. Her feature film script THE WALL deals with female homelessness and has just been given an HONOURABLE MENTION by WRITERS LAB UK/EUROPE 2023 which was originally set up by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. Very recently she was invited to be a judge at the Bafta affiliated NEW VOICE AWARDS. Kerry-Ann’s passion for writing diverse drama threaded with social commentary, stems from her lived experiences.
