KEVIN KOLJACK is a writer from small-town Oklahoma whose suburban childhood was shattered when his father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Taking care of his sick father and younger sister forced Kevin to grow up fast, but it also taught him to lead a full life and find humor in even the darkest of situations. Whether fighting for Team USA as a kickboxer, working to keep up with his classmates at Harvard Law, or spending time with his son as a stay-at-home dad, Kevin is always looking to grow in new and challenging environments. Crafting stories about deeply flawed protagonists who are their own worst enemies, Kevin uses his writing to explore his own fears and failures while making sure to always find the whimsy in any situation. Kevin attributes his love of deep, diverse characters and his dark sense of humor to having lived across the US and seeing firsthand how different people find joy through hardship.
