BIO
Raised in LA, MADISON SEAN FLANNERY loved acting out death scenes with ketchup. Once she realized she could get paid for that, an actor was born. Frustrated with her acting career, she began screenwriting to showcase her acting, but found that screenwriting also provided a place to reflect her journey and experiences with mental illness, autism, and as a queer woman. Her scripts have placed in various competitions including Slamdance and The PAGE Awards and been finalists for the Cannes Screenplay Residency and the Cassian Elwes Fellowship. Mixing heavy themes with a strong dose of irreverent humor, Madison's work highlights the continuing struggles disenfranchised people face in attaining justice.
