When MARCUS CRAWFORD GUY gave up soccer for dance class, his tippy-toed tendencies were sworn to secrecy by his parents - his queerness was best kept quiet. This Billy-Elliot upbringing in rural Scotland got a Hollywood ending when Marcus became the first Scotsman accepted to The Juilliard School’s prestigious Drama Division. Marcus is a proud multi-hyphenate who uses his once-bullied limp wrists to write about misunderstood masculinity. Marcus is a 2023 alumna of the MFA in Writing for Screen and Television from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. His features A Man's A Man, Play Pretend and Malcolm and May have been recognized by ScreenCraft, BAFTA/Rocliffe and Humanitas.
