SCOTT BILLING is a former New York journalist and playwright who writes comedy features, often involving crime, politics and relationships. Scott has spent most of his career at The Wall Street Journal as a “story doctor,” fixing other people’s writing by clarifying themes and finding “hooks.” Besides New York, he has worked for the WSJ in Hong Kong and Europe. Scott also has worked at the business TV channel CNBC pitching story ideas to network TV news producers, including the Today Show and NBC Nightly News. As a playwright, Scott has had several one-acts and full-length plays performed in New York City.
