STEPHEN T. HOOVER is a licensed attorney for thirty years. Feature film TINKER’ (starring Clayne Crawford and Christian Kane) won a dozen prizes at film festivals and was picked up by Netflix in 2018. Won numerous screenwriting awards and has three other projects in development. They include: CONFESSIONS (a contained thriller set in a confession booth) which has garnered a “Recommend” score from several studio readers. HORROR COMIC (thriller set in the 1950s comic book world) won Gold Prize, Page. 3x Emmy Award Winner Don Scardino attached to direct; and FUNK YOU (a fish-out-of-water romantic comedy optioned by Mark Miller with Television 101 in pre-production. Some funk-y cameos being lined up by the director/producer. Completed in 2020 MFA program at Grady College University of Georgia (home of the Peabody Awards) for screenwriting. Guinevere Turner (American Psycho, Charlie Says) and Connie Burge (Charmed) served as my mentors there. Taught screenwriting and comedy writing at local university (LSU) night courses and written twenty books, mostly on film topics. Personal: Married for 15 years to the lovely Tatiana Hoover.
