TAMRA TEIG is a multi-award-winning screenwriter and has 25 years of experience as a freelance journalist. She lived all over the U.S. and Paris, France, raising three children—one who is LGBTQ+. Her passion is telling stories with strong female and diverse characters, inspired by true events. Her scripts have won Slamdance, Page Silver, Creative World Awards, Top 5 Drama in Austin Film Festival, and semifinalist in Nicholl Fellowship. She’s developing her international action-thriller script, CHOKEPOINT, with two-time Academy Award-nominated producer, Ross Katz (LOST IN TRANSLATION, IN THE BEDROOM, MARIE ANTOINETTE), and Ian Jared Goldman (THE PUNISHERS, RUSSIAN DOLL). She’s also co-writer and producer on BEFORE THE FALL, a spy thriller feature in development as an international co-production with Rick McCallum (STAR WARS).
