Online Classes

$39.00

Ah, the early pages of your script. So fun, so exciting, but also so fraught with potential peril. After all, we've all heard the dreaded "well, I got to page X and then you lost me" from an exec at some point. The truth is, when everyone has so much to read, keeping a reader engaged and excited about your script at page 10, 30, 100 is no easy feat.

Join Executive Sabrina Eisenstadt for a Webinar to learn all about how you can hook your reader in the first 15 pages! We have 7 Clinic spots where, following the webinar, up to 7 writers can sign up to receive feedback on their opening pages.

When you sign up, make sure you select whether you want to sign up for the webinar or clinic!

This 90 Minute Webinar on 10/14 Will Cover:

  • Reader expectations for the opening pages
  • Setting up your world, theme and tone
  • How to pose the story's dramatic question
  • Live Q&A

The Clinic on 10/28 Will Cover

  • All of the above
  • Feedback on your opening 15 pages (clinic only)

Sabrina Eisenstadt
SVP of Original Programming
BET Studios

Sabrina Eisenstadt is the SVP of original programming for BET Studios, a part of BET Media Group and Paramount Global. BET Studios was created to give a dedicated home to Black talent, in front of and behind the camera, to develop and produce content for all networks and platforms. Over the past two and a half years, Sabrina has overseen the production of their first series, DIARRA FROM DETROIT (now starting a writers room for Season 2), and has sold shows to Peacock, Hulu, Onyx, FX and Nickelodeon.

Prior to that, she was a VP of Current Programming at Warner Horizon and then Warner Brothers. She oversaw the creative direction of multiple series, including The Flight Attendant, Night Court, Pennyworth and David Makes Man, from Oscar winner Tarell McCraney. Before diving into the studio world, she ran development for Momentum TV, a production company, where she produced three series for AT&T's Audience Network and sold multiple shows to both cable and broadcast. She spent 5 years at CBS in their current programming department. She's a graduate of Northwestern University, where she really found her love for tv, and created their first television drama series, "University Place", a really, really long time ago.
