Here are some exciting opportunities for our community. And, yes, these are all FREE!
Executives are still reading and vetting writers and projects. They are also still meeting writers virtually for consideration. Roadmap has run all our programs online for almost 4 years now and our 300+ executive roster will excitedly still be meeting our writers through these times.
1) If you were planning on attending any screenwriting festival that is now canceled, you can still get the word out there on your script!
Email your script's title, logline, genre/format and tonal comps to joey@roadmapwriters.com and we will feature those loglines on a separate page on our site in all of April so we can spotlight them to our executive roster! The more your script is requested, the higher up it will be featured on our logline roster too!
ALSO, if your script is requested, we will email you for the script and actually let you know who requested it. #FullTransparency
2) Sign up for more of our free marketing check-ins! Each roundtable can take 12 writers and we will help you with following up with executives, career strategizing and even some additional marketing! Click here to sign up!
3) We're introducing an exciting Writers Challenge! Since a lot of us will be isolated we want to stay strong as a community and still be creating.
We will be announcing a Writers Prompt in a few days where we will send a logline to our community and you will have 30 days to write a short script (20 pages max!) based on that logline. One winner will win 5 free private Skype meetings with executives! More instructions to come soon...
This will make us stronger as a community when we come out on the other side. Keep creating!
