More about Beatrice Lovett

Beatrice studied Theater & Media Production at Pepperdine University before earning her Master's of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from the same institution. Since graduating, she's been an Executive Assistant to a Partner and Literary Manager at MGMT. Entertainment.

She reads incoming submissions for her boss' writer and director clients to help determine if the client should engage on the project, i.e. feature scripts, pilots and decks, IP for tv/film development, and shorts. In addition, she works directly with her boss' writer and director clients, giving them notes on new and existing pilots and decks, features and short scripts across all genres.

Some of Beatrice's boss' clients include Dan Levy (SCHITT'S CREEK, soon to be releasing his dark-comedy Netflix feature and has an adult-animated Hulu series in the pipeline), filmmaker Michael Sarnoski (PIG, currently writing and directing DAY ONE - the A QUIET PLACE spinoff film), filmmaker Hannah Utt (BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, soon to be releasing her dramedy indie film CORA BORA which debuted at SXSW this year to rave reviews), horror writer and director Bryan Bertino (THE STRANGERS, has a number of horror projects in the pipeline), and many others.
