Christopher Taleon is a Filipino-American writer-filmmaker based in Los Angeles. After growing up in the cities of Manila, Hong Kong, and Austin, TX, he studied Film & Television with a concentration in Screenwriting at DePaul University and was taught under the mentorship of Scott Myers, chief editor of Go Into The Story: The Official Screenwriting Blog of The Black List. Outside of college, he also took comedy writing and improv courses at The Second City in Chicago.
He then spent a couple years writing and making his own short films in his former hometown of Austin, TX, and working in various on-set positions for a local production company called 360 Studios before deciding to move to Los Angeles.
Since November of 2021, Christopher has been happily working as a Floating Assistant for Anonymous Content and providing book and script coverage for managers and producers responsible for creating feature films that align with his creative taste such as ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND (2004), BABEL (2006), WINTER’S BONE (2010), THE END OF THE TOUR (2015), and DON’T WORRY, HE WON’T GET FAR ON FOOT (2018).
