Emily Hughes Jackson is an independent producer and script consultant based in Los Angeles. Most recently, Emily helped run a successful crowdfunding campaign and produced a short film proof of concept for a feature project entitled JUST WAIT. She was previously Director of Development at Warner Brothers Discovery’s Rooster Teeth Studios, where she supported a robust slate of projects spanning original and IP-based TV and film development, scripted podcasts, and unscripted productions. She cut her teeth in development at Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video, working on such shows as AP BIO, THE OTHER TWO, and MIRACLE WORKERS. She started her career at CAA in the TV Scripted and Corporate Communications departments, and is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s Radio-Television-Film program.
