Erica Rose

Erica Rose (she/her) is an award-winning director with a focus on queer and female driven stories. She co-created, executive produced, and directed the Roku Original docuseries THE LESBIAN BAR PROJECT. The series won an Emmy and GLAAD Media Award, and screened at Brand Storytelling, a sanctioned event at the Sundance Film Festival. Season Two, shot in Germany, will premiere Spring 2024. Her other films have screened at Tribeca, SIFF, Rooftop Films, Iris Prize and Outfest, including LET LIV starring Christine Taylor and CHOICES starring Alysia Reiner. She was a finalist for THROUGH HER LENS: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program in both 2018 and 2020. She’s a 2022 grant recipient of the NYC Women's Fund for Media, Music, and Theatre. She has directed national commercials and branded documentaries for TCS New York City Marathon, EasyKnock, Parents Mag, and Effen Vodka. She’s directed music videos for Sony Music and others. She’s currently in development for various scripted and unscripted projects.
