In 2016 Jason completed his MFA In Screenwriting from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA, and in 2017 completed his MFA in Producing from New York Film Academy.
Jason Has produced several short films and currently owns Basilisk Entertainment, a management and production company specializing in projects with a unique voice or diverse and strong characters. He has a small client roster because he believes in giving his clients the time they need to develop their projects. He has a strong emphasis on screenplay structure and creating characters that are motivated and active.
Jason got his start in the industry, working in various roles in the industry. Including Camera Assistant, Production Assistant, and Lit Manager. Jason Has worked on ONE TREE HILL, HOUSE OF WAX, “NIGHTS IN RODANTHE, HELL'S KITCHEN, BATTLEBOTS, and many others.
Jason’s experience in many aspects of the industry brings him a unique perspective on screenwriting and development.
