We're interested in ongoing genre series, so that includes everything from horror to thriller to crime/true crime to sci-fi to dystopian/post-apocalyptic to action to YA. We aren't looking for anything that is overly dark or dreary.
Personally I also like fantasy, romcoms, period pieces, pure comedies, animation, etc. My top favs are sci-fi, fantasy, horror, historical/period pieces, action/adventure, YA/coming-of-age, superhero (comic/graphic novel adaptations included), and comedy in both the TV and feature spaces.
Jennifer Patterson has always been captivated by storytelling, a passion that took root during her childhood in a small conservative town in Northwestern Pennsylvania. This deep-seated passion led her to pursue a dual degree in Film & Television and English with a focus on Creative Writing at Pennsylvania State University. Throughout her career, Jennifer has gained valuable experience in the entertainment industry, working at top companies like Blumhouse Television, Echo Lake Entertainment, Blitz Films, Valhalla Entertainment, and Creative Artists Agency. In these roles, she has honed her skills in script analysis and development, while also managing high-stakes communications for industry leaders.
As a writer, Jennifer is drawn to stories that challenge societal norms and delve into the complexities of human nature. Her recent scripts reflect her talent for weaving together rich narratives that confront difficult issues while keeping audiences engaged with enthralling plots. While she currently works in development, Jennifer's ultimate aspiration is to become a creator in her own right, bringing to life stories that entertain, challenge, and resonate. She is also passionate about championing the voices of others, particularly those from underrepresented communities.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys exploring sci-fi, fly fishing, K-Pop, graphic novels, and video games. She is an active member of several industry organizations, including HRTS Associates (where she serves as a board member of JHRTS), Film Independent, and Women in Film.
