Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Laura Herb received her B.S. from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She is a former Director of Development from Imagine Entertainment where she spent 5 1/2 years working on films as diverse as GET ON UP, IN THE HEART OF THE SEA, and THE DARK TOWER. She's been a part of projects at major studios as well as independent financiers, and in addition to developing material closely with Imagine Entertainment co-founder Ron Howard, she's worked with filmmakers and writers such as Akiva Goldsman, Tate Taylor, Andrew Adamson, Seth Grahame-Smith, William Broyles Jr, and Lake Bell.
