Matthew Ko is a New York City and Los Angeles based producer. Ko served as the Co-President of Tisch New Theatre where he produced Little Shop of Horrors at the Soho Playhouse and produced a benefit concert for the United Nations sponsored Good Chance Theatre. Ko has also worked with Scott Rudin Productions
on various theatre (To Kill a Mockingbird, Three Tall Women, The Waverly Gallery, The Iceman Cometh) and film (Isle of Dogs, Lady Bird, Eighth Grade, Mid-90s) projects. He worked with A24 Films prior to producing the award-winning short film by Alex Ko, The Yellow Dress. Currently, Ko is a Creative Executive for ACE Entertainment, founded by producer Matt Kaplan in 2017, ACE Entertainment is the creative force behind some of today’s most relevant content: the massive Netflix films TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE, the Netflix romantic drama IRREPLACEABLE YOU, and SPONTANEOUS starring Katherine Langford. ACE has series in development with almost every major streamer including Netflix, Apple, Peacock, Amazon, and Freevee. Select series in development include THE OPPOSITE OF LONELINESS (based on the NYT bestselling novel) at Netflix, THORNS, a darkly comedic thriller with Daniel Dae Kim attached to star at Amazon, as well as EVERY LAST FEAR, a psychological thriller with Francis Lawrence set to direct at Apple. ACE also produces the reboot of ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK for Paramount +, as well as XO, Kitty, a television spinoff of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, for Netflix.
