Anything with a sense of humor - I love things on the darker side a la FARGO or SUCCESSION but truly any genre as long as it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Ryan Case started out her directing career on ABC's MODERN FAMILY where she also won a Primetime Emmy in 2010 for her editing work on the pilot of the hit series. She also edited the pilots of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE and DON'T TRUST THE B____ IN APARTMENT 23. She was named a Top 35 Women Under 35 in Hollywood by Glamour Magazine. Ryan then quickly moved on to directing full time and has a diverse resume in both network and cable/streaming. Her favorites include YOU'RE THE WORST, DIVORCE, MAN SEEKING WOMAN, ATYPICAL, and her diamond in the rough wILDERNESS that was Quibi - Flipped. She is now in development on a one hour Crime Dramedy in the style of FARGO at Netflix and a still in the works comedy feature. She has worked heavily with writers on several feature films and also pitched successfully alongside writers on several television shows.
