Sarah Al-Qatou is an LA-based creative producer & development executive with a passion for bringing to life crowd-pleasing, concept-driven films. Most recently, Al-Qatou was a Film & TV Creative Executive at writer-actress Issa Rae's Hoorae. Prior to that, she supported filmmaker Lulu Wang and producer Dani Melia in founding their banner Local Time, as well as past stints at indie financier Big Beach, and film acquisitions at Focus Features.
She has served as juror for the Sundance Institute x Women in Film Financing Intensive, industry mentor for The Academy's Gold Film Accelerator Program in partnership with LALIFF, Director of Mentorship for The Reel Champions, and was a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow. Her past work includes: RAP SH!T S2 (Max), EXPATS (Amazon Studios), and TRIGGERMAN (Omeleto).
