Highly regarded for her global expertise in content development, acquisitions, sales and coproductions, Sarah's executive experience spans TV movies, feature films, documentaries, series and formats. She is currently SVP of International Content at the deficit-financing film and TV studio Happy Accidents.
A dynamic and engaging polyglot communicator, Sarah speaks 5 languages. She regularly shares her expertise as a panelist and lecturer at global film and TV conferences. She has held speaking engagements at NATPE, DISCOP, Rose d’Or and European Broadcasting Union. Since 2016, she has been an International Emmys judge. She is also a contributor to the industry publication Format Espresso.
Previously, Sarah was SVP International for GRB Studios, where she worked with the development team on UK-US true crime coproductions. Sarah is co-creator of LOVE AT FIRST BITE, which aired on Discovery. She is now developing series for the US and Canada, co-developing with US and European partners, and adapting a book into a feature screenplay.
Sarah has contributed management skills in consultancy roles, furthering clients’ agendas to acquire, develop and co-produce original content. She has worked with local and global teams, leading content strategy for 34 production companies. Deep relationships with the industry's top writers, directors, producers, channels and platforms has given her expert knowledge on emerging content trends.
Notably, Sarah headed the global format sales and acquisitions divisions at Zodiak, a role which quickly expanded into film and scripted series, greenlighting series into development . She collaborated on award-winning films such as THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO and the BBC series WALLANDER, starring Kenneth Branagh.
