Sean Gantka

Sean Gantka has had a winding and interesting path to where he is now as the Line Producer on “X-Men ‘97” at Marvel Studios Animation. An opera singer in college, a professor of English with a Masters Degree in Medieval Literature, and then into the world of animation with aspirations of being a writer, it took time and experiences to help him learn his true passion for production and working with creative people. In his 12 years in animation Production, Sean has worked on award winning and audience beloved shows like “The Legend of Korra,” “The Loud House,” “The Casagrandes,” and “Wolfboy and the Everything Factory.” Now he is living a childhood dream of helping to bring the next incarnation of animated Marvel mutants into the world. Sean loves building and working with teams, mentoring people through their own animation career journeys, and reading comics as “research.” Outside of work he adores spending time with his family, reading stories about Merlin, and nearly anything related to the Muppets.
