I'm particularly motivated to help writers get their TV ideas to where they can be pitched. The art of pitching is a specific practice that inspires me and is helpful to any writer. And the conversation between the actual idea, the actual script, and the way it's presented is fascinating and inspiring.

Spencer has previously held Development and Executive positions at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Big Breakfast, and CollegeHumor. He was recognized with a Webby and Telly Award for his co-direction and production of a rap video starring a rapping First Lady Michelle Obama.

He has received multiple 5-star reviews for productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival including Moses Storm's "Perfect Cult" and the award-winning dramatic one-man play "Catalpa".
Spencer has been a speaker at SXSW, Just For Laughs, ATX, Future of Television Conference, Social Media Week, and more. And has taught courses and workshops at the comedy schools Upright Citizen’s Brigade and The Pack Theater and has guest lectured at The University of Iowa and USC Cinematic Arts.
