BIO
ANA MENDEZ is a Hispanic Texan writer living in L.A., a major animal lover, and is possibly three story-loving owls in a trench coat. She loves writing genre pieces with an allegorical element that the viewer can still have fun with & find meaning in - this landed her in the semi-finals of the Mentorship Matters TV Program in 2024.
Ana’s journey to becoming a screenwriter began with 10+ years working as an appearance agent (clients included actors from THE WALKING DEAD, PUNISHER, THIS IS US), which led to her current job as a writer’s assistant. Recently, she worked on a big-budget Paramount feature through all stages of development and on set filming in London.
