BIO
EDWARD GADRIX earned a master’s degree with a concentration in screenwriting from Kennesaw State University, a J.D. degree, and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University.
He served eight years in the U.S. Coast Guard, giving him firsthand knowledge of the subject matter for his TV pilot, Cutterman. While writing the script, he worked closely with the USCG’s film office in Los Angeles, which facilitated his research at the Tybee Island, GA, base. He anticipates continued support from the film office as the project progresses.
Cutterman ranks in the top 4% of films rated and recommended by Coverfly.
In addition to television, Gadrix adapted a stage play into a feature film, Here Comes the Sun, which now streams on Tubi, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV+. He has also written two other screenplays that have earned honors at numerous film festivals.
Beyond his writing, he teaches screenwriting to adults at a Fulton County, GA, learning institution.
