Hailing from a family of Jewish candy-makers who managed to escape Nazi-occupied Hungary to New Jersey, JARED FEMBLEAUX is proud to contribute to his family’s monumental legacy by being a queer, atheist screenwriter. Now based in Los Angeles, Jared moonlights as a Producer for NBCUniversal’s Peacock Kids, conquering the digital space one YouTube video at a time. Jared earned his B.A. in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University and uses his writing to explore queer experiences and family dynamics in the most extreme or hyperbolic, yet naturalistic, situations. When not hunched over his laptop, Jared can be found walking his 3-year-old husky in the hills of Los Angeles or sourcing the best dessert a sugar addict can find—it’s in his blood, after all.
