BIO
JESSE RANDALL is a queer filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer who focuses on comedies and thrillers about working-class LGBTQIA+ characters struggling to survive late-stage capitalism. Hailing from North Carolina, Jesse studied writing at HB Studios in New York before moving to Los Angeles to complete their screenwriting degree at California State University, Northridge. Jesse has written and produced 92-minutes' worth of short-form content that is streaming on 30 platforms, including Tubi, Plex TV, and Cineverse. Jesse's digital series, The Safety Plan, debuted at Seriesfest in 2020 and was nominated for Best New Media and Best Comedic Performance at the Best of NewFilmmakers Los Angeles 2022 Awards. Jesse's most recent film about the homeless crisis, Spare Change, premiered at Outfest Fusion in 2023.
