JIMMY PROSSER is a writer/director. He is a 2018 graduate of New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts, Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, where his pilot for the limited series "John & Meryl" was selected by NYU Tisch faculty as the Outstanding TV Thesis (Drama) and on The Black List's "Real Time Hot List." A short script excepted from his current feature project, "Korean Shooter," recently won Best Screenplay at the 2023 LA Shorts Film Festival (with staged reading) and the Big Apple Film Festival. Jimmy's short films, "FOOLS" and "Reverse Taxidermy," and several music videos he directed have been screened and won awards at multiple festivals.
Jimmy and his partners also are developing "DIMEBAG," an adult animated series, and completed a fully animated teaser along with key shots and character designs. The pilot script has won several contests, including Coverfly (Top 1%); Austin Comedy Film Festival; Los Angeles Animation Festival; and No Boundaries Screenwriting Competition. Jimmy's short script for "Noteworthy" also won several awards, including London Independent Film Awards; Los Angeles International Film Festival; and London Lift-Off Film Festival. And his Better Call Saul spec script, "Queso," won 2nd Place in the Scriptapalooza TV One Hour Competition.
