BIO
JOHN SURIANO is a writer of Comedic Supernatural Horror. John grew up in a large, noisy Italian American family, fascinated and inspired to become a teller-of-tales from a young age in the 1970s by the funny, crazy, and seemingly mythical stories of a disappeared New York City that he heard first-hand from an elderly cigar-smoking, fedora-wearing generation. John is a published author of short stories and has written/produced award-winning short films, including “Archie’s Last Drive” which gained 40,000 views in a two-month period on YouTube. Alongside renowned filmmaker David Wilkinson, he is currently engaged in numerous documentary projects, and served as Researcher on the cinema-released feature “Getting Away with Murder(s)”, exploring the lack of justice for the Holocaust. It was five-star rated by The Guardian newspaper as the top documentary released in UK cinemas in 2021, now available on Amazon Prime/Peacock/TUBI in the US and Channel 4 in the UK.
