KAMEISHIA WOOTEN, an award-winning writer and director based in Los Angeles, has directed seven short films with an emphasis on inclusive, thought-provoking storytelling. Her recent short film, "Choices," which was supported by the inaugural WIF/Google Shorts Lab, has been celebrated at five Oscar-qualifying film festivals including Hollyshorts, Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, and Pan African Film Festival. Kameishia was honored with the 2023 WIF Directing Fellowship supported by Netflix and participated in Ryan Murphy's Half Initiative program in 2022.
