KRISTEN BUCKELS is a director, writer, and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a fellow of the 2022 Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directors Program. Her debut short film “No Man’s Land” premiered at the Oscar Qualifying Palm Springs International ShortsFest in 2022 and was awarded “Staff Favorite Short” at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival. Prior to directing, Buckels worked as a producer to comedians Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj, and Mike Birbiglia. She then pivoted into scripted content working as the on-set creative producer on HBOMax’s SEARCH PARTY, as well as THE OTHER TWO among many other scripted narrative series.
