ROBIN FARMER is an award-winning author, screenwriter and journalist specializing in strong female protagonists interested in identity, truth-telling and service to others. Her Catholic upbringing generated guilt and stories, including her debut novel MALCOLM AND ME (adapted from her own screenplay). Robin was recently awarded the 2023 Stowe Story Labs Bellem Entertainment Fellowship and a Hedgebrook Residency. Director of the Virginia Screenwriters Forum, she's married to Michael Paul Williams, the best writer in their household.
Michael Paul Williams, an opinion columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the daily newspaper of his native Richmond, Virginia, was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 2021. He's a recipient of a Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University and the 2021 recipient of the Pell Center Prize for Story in the Public Square, among other honors. He's a graduate of Virginia Union University and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. He's married to Robin Farmer, the best writer in their household.
