Alessandro got a BA in film directing from the University of Bologna, Italy. After graduating college, he worked directing commercials in France, Italy and Mexico for several years. He then moved to Los Angeles where he finally feels at home and where he got an MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute Conservatory. His thesis short film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival VR 2020 and it was the first ever VR thesis film produced at AFI.
He currently works as Director of Development at Animal de Luz, one of the most prestigious and prolific production companies in Mexico.
