In film and TV, I’m a big lover of genre scripts! Send me your science fiction, horror, thrillers, psychological thrillers, and crime stories. Bonus points for black comedy and genre blending. Scripts with strong hooks, high concepts, and unique POVs will always catch my eye.
From my time working in the documentary field, I also enjoy scripts based on true stories or inspired by true events. As a sometimes-novelist, I’m also happy to read fiction manuscripts and explore possibilities for adaptation.
Favorite movies: FIGHT CLUB, DONNIE DARKO, WHIPLASH, ARRIVAL, STAND BY ME, NEVER LET ME GO, THE BIG LEBOWSKI, PULP FICTION, SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, SHAUN OF THE DEAD, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
Favorite TV: THE LEFTOVERS, LOST, PATRIOT, TRUE DETECTIVE, BLACK MIRROR, TWIN PEAKS, ATLANTA, SHERLOCK, 30 ROCK, THE SIMPSONS, BOB'S BURGERS
SAW or FINAL DESTINATION-style gore-based horror, or stories about sexual assault in any form.
Allison is a film/TV executive who was born in Los Angeles and plans to never leave. Obsessed with the film industry from a young age, she grew up dreaming about reading scripts and being on sets. Most recently, she worked as a Creative Executive at Campfire Studios, a production company known for their scripted and documentary slate, on film and TV projects like Netflix’s PLAYERS (starring Gina Rodriguez, Damon Wayans Jr., and Tom Ellis), Ryan O'Connell’s Emmy-nominated series SPECIAL, Zak Hilditch’s upcoming film WE BURY THE DEAD (starring Daisy Ridley), and Zach Strauss’s upcoming film PALETTE (starring Hunter Schafer). Prior to Campfire, she worked at WME, CMT, Cinetic Media, Good Universe, Bona Fide Productions, and The Dan Jinks Company.
Allison absolutely loves working with writers and helping refine and elevate their stories. Let’s talk structure, characters, and big themes! She’s a lifelong writer herself, with screenplays that have placed at the ScreenCraft Feature Competition and the Austin Film Festival screenwriting competition. She’s also a published narrative writer, with short pieces published in Maudlin House, Every Day Fiction, and Herstry.
An alum of USC’s film school, Allison graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Media Studies and a screenwriting minor.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
