If you’re anything like us, then you’ve heard terms like “foreign sales,” “acquisitions,” and “film markets” and wondered just what that was all about, and if you, a writer, need to know this information. Sure, you have a general idea of what the terms mean, but you probably don’t know the nitty-gritty, inside-and-out information that could very well affect how execs look at scripts and pitches.
Thankfully, Roadmap is thrilled to welcome Jack Sheehan to break this all down for us!
This 90-Minute Webinar Will Cover:
- Foreign Markets
- TV and Film Markets
- The process for acquiring new projects
- Financing
- Distribution
Jack Sheehan grew up in Connecticut and graduated from USC's Marshall School of Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Realizing a passion for the expanding global film business, Jack joined QED International as executive assistant to CEO Bill Block before joining Lotus Entertainment as their International Sales Coordinator. Within Lotus, he rose to Vice President Sales and Acquisitions where he currently handles worldwide acquisitions and sales of both finished and pre-sale feature films, while producing and developing feature and TV projects in house and co-running the digital label, Greenhouse Content. He attends the major annual markets including Cannes, AFM, EFM, Toronto, Sundance & SXSW for features, MipCom and MipTV for television, and Vidcon for digital.
