I'm particularly interested in action, crime drama, and thriller features, as well as streaming or cable hour-long pilots.
Emerson Gordon currently work in development and production at Paramount Pictures, having recently worked on films such as PRIMATE, VICIOUS, SECRET HEADQUARTERS, and BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE. Originally from New Jersey, Emerson discovered their passion for the arts at an early age, which manifested itself in acting and doing musicals up through high school, while at the same time writing stories that they'd one day want to star in. To scratch this itch, Emerson went to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts to study Dramatic Writing, and while there, realized that their actual passion was in helping other (more talented) writers develop their scripts into not only cohesive stories, but makeable films. After getting their minor in film and tv producing and doing several internships at production companies ran by the likes of James Schamus and the makers of CRAZY RICH ASIANS, Emerson got a job working in film finance at Andrew Lauren Productions (makers of THE BRUTALIST), and while there, made revered independent films HIGH LIFE (Claire Denis' English language debut with Robert Pattinson and Andre Benjamin) and VOX LUX (starring Natalie Portman and Jude Law). From there Emerson moved on to MTV Entertainment Group (where Emerson got valued experience in television), and now Paramount Pictures, but the song remains the same, in that Emerson's goal is to help writers and directors take their ideas from fantastic visions in their heads, to realized images projected on a screen, no matter the genre.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
