Melissa B. Miller is a writer/director. Most recently, Melissa wrapped the romantic comedy The List, starring Halston Sage, Chrissie Fit, and Christian Navarro. It was distributed by Universal Pictures in the summer of 2023.
Melissa's first feature entitled All These Small Moments, starring Molly Ringwald, Brian d'Arcy James, Jemima Kirke, Harley Quinn Smith, Brendan Meyer, and Sam McCarthy premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and was released by Orion Classics on January 17th, 2019
Melissa worked extensively in TV and has shadow directed on audience favorites God Friended Me for CBS and Katy Keene on the CW, and directed several music videos for artist like The Davenports and Kris Gruen, as well as commercial spots for Compass Real Estate Group.
In addition to producing the award winning feature The Tested starring Aunjanue Ellis, Armando Riesco, and Frank Vincent which was accepted to the prestigious IFP Independent Filmmaker Lab and Emerging Narratives at IFP Film Week, won the Grand Jury Prize at the American Black Film Festival, Melissa worked in the art department on such critically acclaimed films as The Fighter, Precious, Based on the novel by Sapphire, W.E., and If Beale Street Could Talk.
