Even if you're not a comedy writer, we'd hazard a guess that you have a favorite comedy. Comedy doesn't only make us laugh, but it gets us through hard times - especially after these past months. It's not an easy genre to write, though. From the premise and the characters, to the structure and the jokes on the page, to making your pitch just as funny as the script, there's a lot you have to be good at.
That's why Roadmap put together this special 3-week lecture series to give you the tools to master all this and more!
This 3-Week Lecture Series Will Cover:
- Developing the comedy
- Compelling and relatable characters
- Structure
- Jokes
- Pitching
