Focus on hook, character, and personal connection. I’m here to work with you -- it doesn’t have to be perfect -- but I do want to get a sense of the project’s beating heart (or yours). What makes this thing tick?
Comedy and genre. Anything with a high concept hook is great both for personal interest and marketplace reasons. Character tends to be king in the comedy space, but for me, funny always wins, no matter what form, and regardless of format (feature, single cam, multi cam, and beyond).
Open to most things in the comedy/genre space, generally less interest and less expertise outside of that.
