This session includes 2 x 30 minute Zoom meetings.
In the first meeting, the exec will review the feature script OR pilot and bible (if provided) and meet with the writer via Zoom for 30 minutes to provide rewrite notes.
The writer will rewrite their script with the markup switch on and send it back to the exec to read and then meet with the exec via Zoom for a second 30 minutes to receive further feedback on their script.
I have had extensive experience pitching features, half hour and hour TV shows to studios, networks and streaming networks. Helping writers learn to "read the room", how to best interact with executives, how to distill your pitch down to the essence that will deliver the biggest impact. What aspects of the script or series the writer should best focus on to connect with those they are pitching to.
Honestly I am interested in and have had experience with all aspects of writing and pitching for film and TV in all genres. I am most interested in working with the writer to help them realize their vision and to get a sense of the difference between their idea of what they've written and what they actually have written. I am interested in working on scripts, pitches, pitch decks, outlines and story bibles.
