Who doesn't dream of seeing their projects get made? The lights dim, the opening credits roll, and the magic begins. Some of us are happy to wait to see if a deal with a big deal producer crosses our path, but so many of us are chomping at the bit to make our projects ourselves. Which means, our film or short will certainly be independent.
But what goes into making an indie film? What should you know before diving in?
To answer all your indie film questions, Roadmap put this webinar bundle together featuring our favorite webinars from the past 6 years.
This On-Demand Bundle Includes:
- Writing, Financing & Making Your First Feature
- So You Want to Make a Movie: Low Budget Filmmaking
- All Things Indie Filmmaking
- 00:08:46 - The Filmmakers' Panel
- What I Wish I Knew: Making Your First Short Film
Purchased individually, these webinar recordings would total $136, but with this bundle, you can have all five for just $45 (a savings of $91)!

Darrien has traveled to over 55 film festivals in more than 25 states and 5 countries to consult with independent filmmakers. Yes, she has a lot of frequent flyer miles. No, she isn’t sharing them.
Darrien’s (new) favorite book about moviemaking is As You Wish: Inconceivable Takes from the Making of THE PRINCESS BRIDE by Cary Elwes. It includes amazing behind-the-scenes information about the best movie ever made (she will fight you on that). Darrien especially loves how Elwes has different cast members write their own memories throughout the book. It might be lighthearted and irreverent, but it is done with sincerity and just made her happy. Just like maewidge, it bwings us togetheh.
