This session format is available only to writers in our Top Tier Program.
This session includes 2 x 30 minute Zoom meetings.
In the first meeting, the exec will review the feature script OR pilot and bible (if provided) and meet with the writer via Zoom for 30 minutes to provide rewrite notes.
The writer will rewrite their script with the markup switch on and send it back to the exec to read and then meet with the exec via Zoom for a second 30 minutes to receive further feedback on their script.
My background is in high concept, loud, original feature film ideas with comedy and heart, but I love discussing stories of all genres and budget ranges.
Justin Lee is a Creative Executive at Lord Miller (SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDERVERSE; COCAINE BEAR; THE LEGO MOVIE; 21 & 22 JUMP STREET) with a first-look feature deal at Universal and an overall TV deal at Sony.
He really prepared for the meeting so we were able to chat then get to the meat of the matter very quickly. It felt like a real face-to-face meeting with real notes given. I highly recommend Justin. He has extremely good insights that I think will make a key difference in the opening of my script.
