Ken Kristensen is a Los Angeles-based writer/producer. Recent TV credits include serving as Co-EP on the JOHN WICK spinoff show THE CONTINENTAL for Peacock (premieres Sept 2023), Marvel Studios' ECHO (premieres Nov 2023), and SHANTARAM for Apple TV+ (premiered Oct 2022).
Other staffing includes the gritty Netflix crime series THE PUNISHER (S1, S2), SyFy's action-comedy series HAPPY (S1, S2), Hulu's GHOST RIDER, BOLTS (Disney+), and an animated SPIDERMAN (S1) series for Disney XD.
In 2018 Ken developed the DARK WINDS pilots at HBO, which eventually became an acclaimed show on AMC+.
In 2021 he developed a pilot at UCP, creating an original one-hour drama set in the New York publishing world -- based partly on his own experience as a journalist and comic book writer.
In 2023 he developed a crime series with Matthew Rhys (Perry Mason, The Americans) attached to star.
Other pilot development deals include FX, A&E, Paramount Network, ITV America, and Pivot and working with producers George R.R. Martin, Robert Redford, Howard Gordon, Tom Fontana, Barry Levinson, Shadow Machine, Grant Morrison and Stan Lee.
Early in his TV career he produced non-fiction series for Langley Productions (COPS, JAIL, INSIDE AMERICAN JAIL, LAS VEGAS JAILHOUSE, ROAD WARRIORS).
A lifelong comic book junkie, Ken writes for major comic publishers, including Batman and the Outsiders for DC Comics, Todd, The Ugliest Kid on Earth for Image Comics, Fairy Godbrothers for Adaptive Books, Indestructible for IDW Publishing, and Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of The Escapist for Dark Horse Comics.
Ken received an MFA in film from Columbia University. He is the recipient of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting and an alum of the Sundance Lab.
Ken is a member of the Writers Guild of America, the Producers Guild of America, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Animation Guild, and several airline frequent flyer programs.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
