Kurt Conner is the former Director of Development at Ubisoft Film & Television, where he produced and developed various projects based on well known video game IP - such as 'Assassin's Creed" for Netflix, WATCH DOGS for New Regency, and JUST DANCE for Sony - as well as original concepts based in the realm of gaming, including "Mythic Quest" for Apple TV Plus.
While there, he was responsible for working directly with top-level creatives, writers, and directors to develop story materials and scripts, fostering strong relationships with external partners at leading studios and networks such as Netflix, Sony, Amazon, Disney, and Paramount, and providing creative solutions to bring their projects to fruition.
He also led several strategic initiatives, including establishing and managing international writing labs in Brazil and India, running a fellowship for emerging female writers, and spearheading the development of original film and TV projects beyond Ubisoft's well-known IP.
Prior to Ubisoft, Kurt worked in nearly every facet of the entertainment industry - from Production to Post-Production on the hit Nickelodeon shows ICARLY and VICTORIOUS and even representation, working with clients such as Kevin Bacon, Kevin Costner and Nicole Richie. He got his start in film development at Paramount Pictures where he was lucky enough to work on all of the CLOVERFIELD projects with JJ Abram's Bad Robot as well as the FRIDAY THE 13th remake with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
