Marcus Peace Cox is an Emmy and Gotham Award winning producer. His films have played prestigious film festivals including; SXSW, Galway, LAFF, Tribeca, Busan, Rome, Deauville, Toronto and Sundance. He founded Through Films with wife, Karrie Cox, in an effort to produce meaningful motion pictures that captivate, influence and entertain audiences.
His tenure at Through Films includes the development, production, and distribution of projects such as: KILL OR BE KILLED, HOMELAND NATION, ADULT BEGINNERS, DON'T LEAVE HOME, KICKS and TANGERINE. Marcus produced the drama DARK WAS THE NIGHT, starring Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant and Mireille Enos. Marcus produced the documentary, I STAND: GUARDIANS OF THE WATER a chronicle of the Lakota Sioux’s battle against the Dakota Access Pipeline, which received the National Television Academy's Heartland Emmy for Best Documentary. Most recently, he produced the crime/thriller OUT OF EXILE released by Paramount Pictures. Through Films has a diverse slate, with several film and television projects in development.
Marcus was born and raised in Austin, Texas and spent much of his youth outside with fossils and fire ants. Storytelling has always been a way for Marcus to connect with people and bring them together. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
